2007: what a ride!!!

102.  29,916.  3277.  586.

no, those are not the winning numbers to next week's powerball.  but those numbers are even more important when it comes to eternity.  in 2007, (thanks greatly to your investment) i ran around and drove around and flew around to 102 events.  some of them were single day bookings and some of them were multi-day engagements.  over the course of those 102 bookings, we saw approximately 29,916 attendees.  3,277 of those people were moved to responses like rededicating their lives to Christ, or confession, or baptism, or full-time service, etc. and (drum roll please) 586 souls stepped into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ!

i am thrilled at how God has continued to allow open doors and He is drawing His children to Himself.  in my heart, i hope to that the total numbers for 2008 completely and utterly dwarf what we experienced over the last calendar year!

i can hardly remember back to the days before nathaniel joined our circus of love.   i am not sure if that is due to sleep deprivation or the fact that we just adore him so much.

we had a great visit from john's mom last week.  it was her first time to meet nathaniel and we all really enjoyed having her.  now that she is gone, nathaniel is going through withdrawal from being rocked to sleep by a professional.

i have to say that my mothering skills have grown immensely over the last 3 months as i am doing more on less sleep than ever before...keeping track of 4 children at super wal-mart while getting everything on my list...getting  5 of us dressed for church and in the car in just over an hour. along with seeing some growth,  i am constantly reminded of what i need to work on.  the couch in the school room has turned into a giant laundry basket.  if you see my husband in wrinkled clothes, they are clean, he just had to go fish them out of the pile on the couch.

we are all trying to work into a rhythm and get everything done around here.  adding a newborn to the mix of homemaking and home schooling is a definite challenge, but i wouldn't trade it for the world.

my children constantly amaze me with...how many questions they can ask that i don't know the answers to...how much and how often they eat... how frequently they make me laugh... how creative they can be with just a rubbermaid container...and how much love they give me even when i am tired and not so fun to be around.

i am learning much about grace and seeking wisdom everyday.

3degrees ministries needs the assistance of faithful souls like you.  as we close in on our 3rd anniversary, we have literally seen thousands of lives changed in ways that demonstrate the God we serve is The Way to true life and freedom.

we believe that 2008 will surely be the most significant year of ministry we have experienced to date.  if you feel prompted to financially support bringing truth, life, and purpose to youth and young adult culture...

congrats keith and susan!

can you imagine doing anything for 25 years?!  well, if you loved it and invested in it and had a partner to walk alongside, i'll bet you could.  i  know this because keith and susan yarborough have just celebrated their 25th anniversary in ministry at first baptist church of winter garden, florida.  (and you thought dealing with your teenager for seven years was impressive)  3degrees wishes to offer a humble and heart-filled recognition of keith and susan for all they have done to pour into souls in west orange county and well beyond.  keith, i hold you in highest regard and count you among my foremost sources of wisdom and encouragement.
