big visions from a ridiculously huge
God |
have you ever sensed an
impression so deeply that you had
trouble sleeping at night for all
the pent up energy? that happened
for kathryn and me three and a
half years ago which resulted in
the launching of 3degrees. and
that feeling is back...
in short, we believe the next
step in the maturation of our
youth evangelistic ministry is
two-fold...1) to develop and
brand our own weekend conference
which will be taken to various
locations around the country and
2) to partner with four or five
musical groups in establishing a
tour-style ministry where i
serve as emcee and deliver a
message somewhere among the
musical acts.
these are the things God has
placed hotly on my spirit. will
you pray for me and our board to
have great wisdom as we seek to
walk out these ideas? will you
stand in agreement with us that
God has bigger plans to reach
even more young souls for His
glory? will you ask the Lord
what tangible role He might have
you to play in bringing these
concepts to reality? exciting
days are ahead...

"change"...thankfully our Lord and
Savior never gets caught off
guard. He is always prepared and
faithfully waiting for us to come
to Him when we struggle with
understanding the change that
comes our way.
for us, change includes
traveling as a family more this
fall than ever before while
potty training a 3 year old and
getting a 10 month old to sleep
through the night. its home
schooling a preschooler,
kindergartener, and first grader
while on the road. what a
blessing it has been to have
this time together as john spoke
to students across the state of
florida.
please pray for john as the
exhaustion from traveling
combined with the illness that
has landed on our family this
fall is really wearing on him.
his schedule continues to be
very busy so there is not much
rest in sight for him.
change...we've experienced few
cold days in florida...at least
what we call cold anyway.
somehow this weather always
sneaks up on me unprepared and
our kids had no church shoes.
but you know how it is, you
don't want to buy them too early
because the kids are growing so
fast. but if you wait, you are
sending your kids to church in
dress clothes and sneakers.
travel, potty training,
homeschool, economic concerns,
disciplining children,
presidential elections...God has
the wisdom we need to deal with
it all. so whatever change
you're dealing with, join me in
seeking God...james 1:5
if any of you lacks wisdom,
he should ask God, who gives
generously to all without
finding fault, and it will be
given to him.

decision '08 |
| |
|
no, not that type of decision
'08...don't get me started on that.
year to date, in 2008, we have seen
2,293 souls trust
their lives to Christ!
we've seen another 4,719
souls respond to invitations for
rededication, prayer, counsel,
baptism, and the calling of
full-time ministry!
now that's a decision '08 we can all
agree on!!!
